Job summary

Select Recruitment Specialists Ltd in Norwich and Bungay is seeking reliable Kitchen Assistants to support catering operations across the Norwich and Bungay areas. This temporary/flexible role offers varied shifts and hands-on experience in busy kitchen environments.

An up-to-date Enhanced DBS is essential, and candidates should be punctual, team-focused and able to work at pace. You will assist with food prep, service, washing up, and uphold strict hygiene standards.

Qualifications

• Up-to-date Enhanced DBS is essential.
• Previous kitchen or catering experience preferred.
• Good understanding of food hygiene and kitchen safety.
• Reliable and punctual.
• Positive attitude and good teamwork skills.
• Ability to work in a busy environment.

Responsibilities

• Assisting with food preparation and meal service.
• Supporting chefs and kitchen staff during busy periods.
• Washing up and maintaining a clean and tidy kitchen.
• Following food hygiene and health & safety procedures.
• Preparing and serving food when required.
• Supporting the smooth day-to-day running of the kitchen.
