Principal People are supporting a large, complex organisation in Chester with the appointment of an Interim Health & Safety Advisor to provide additional resource while the organisation reviews the longer-term structure of its Health & Safety function.

The role is a three-day-per-week interim contract based in Chester, with flexible on-site and remote working options. NEBOSH General Certificate is required, and you will lead training, audits and system improvements.

Qualificações

• NEBOSH General Certificate (or equivalent Level 3) is the minimum.
• Experience as a health & safety generalist in varied environments.
• Ability to design and deliver training, run audits and inspections.

Responsabilidades

• Develop and deliver risk assessment training for managers.
• Support training on contractor management, stress awareness and H&S responsibilities.
• Conduct H&S audits and workplace inspections.
• Provide practical H&S advice across a varied organisation.
• Assist in implementing a managers' handbook rollout.
• Help improve systems using MS Forms and SharePoint.
• Provide additional day-to-day H&S capacity to Head of H&S.
