Job summary

Hailsham Academy invites applications for two Individual Needs Assistant posts. Start date as soon as possible. The roles are fixed-term, part-time, term-time only (Mon-Fri 8.30am–3.30pm with a 30-minute unpaid break). Salary is Grade 3 Point 7 (£24,796 full-time equivalent) with actual salary £18,817.

The successful candidates will work with class teachers and SEND staff to support pupils to thrive academically, socially and emotionally within an inclusive, nurturing environment.

• Assist Individual Needs students in and out of the classroom with tasks and activities.
• Collaborate with class teachers and SEND staff to support learning, social and emotional development.
