Job summary

Nuffield Health's The Holly Hospital in Buckhurst Hill is seeking a Deputy Imaging Manager to support the Diagnostics Imaging team, covering MRI, CT, ultrasound, mammography, theatres and general radiography.

You will work with HCPC-registered radiographers, ensure safe, high-quality imaging services, assist the Imaging Manager, oversee staffing, audits, risk assessments, and contribute to research, safety, and patient experience.

Qualifications

• Must be HCPC registered and have radiography qualifications.
• Experience in a leadership/managerial role within imaging.
• Strong communication and collaborative skills to lead a multi‑discipline team.

Responsibilities

• Support Diagnostics Imaging Manager to run the department effectively and safely.
• Maintain clinical skills through regular sessions.
• Coordinate equipment training for radiographers and radiologists.
• Liaise with local research facilities for ongoing activity.
• Develop and implement local policies, risk assessments, and safety measures.
