Job summary

Acorn Early Years Foundation is seeking an Early Years Practitioner to join the Sharnbrook Nursery on a full-time basis. You will support high-quality care and education for children aged four months to four years, with flexible hours and a 3-day or split-week structure discussed at interview.

The role requires a full and relevant Early Years qualification (minimum Level 2) and a caring, enthusiastic approach. A recruitment bonus is payable after successful probation.

Qualifications

• A good working knowledge of the EYFS and safeguarding requirements.
• Full & relevant Early Years qualification, minimum Level 2.
• Caring, enthusiastic and dedicated approach.

Responsibilities

• Support holistic EYFS curriculum delivery.
• Meet individual care and learning needs of children.
• Deliver high-quality interactions to support development.
• Follow Acorn policies for safeguarding and behaviour.
• Document observations, care plans, and two-year checks.
• Plan in the moment and support next steps in learning.
• Help create rich indoor and outdoor learning environments.
• Build strong relationships with children and families.
