Job summary

We Change Lives (WCL) is seeking a Bank Support Worker to join our care team in Northwest England. You will support residents with diverse needs, providing high-quality, person-centred care across Chapel house and Old chapel services.

You can pick up shifts days or nights, with flexible ad hoc hours and the freedom to manage your own timetable. We offer training, benefits, and the chance to grow with a compassionate charity that values dignity and independence.

Qualifications

• Experience in care is desirable.
• Desirable: recognised health or social care qualification.

Responsibilities

• Mentor new colleagues during induction to support high-quality care delivery.
• Participate in supervision, observation and appraisal processes.
• Provide effective communication including accurate written reports.
• Follow WCL financial procedures.
• Act in line with the organisation's environmental and sustainability principles.
• Help maintain a caring environment aligned with best practice, guidance and legislative requirements.
• Deliver high-quality care in line with support plans and organisational policy.
