Job summary

Academics is currently recruiting Higher Level Teaching Assistants (HLTA) and Early Career Teachers (ECT) to support partner schools in and around Baildon. Opportunities include flexible daily supply, longer-term posts, and permanent positions across mainstream and SEN settings.

We welcome applicants with HLTA status, QTS or ECT, and experience in a primary school. Enhanced DBS is required or willingness to apply. September start.

Qualifications

• HLTA status, QTS or are an ECT.
• Experience in a primary school setting.
• Ability to support learning across EYFS, KS1 and/or KS2.
• Able to lead learning and cover classes where required.
• Experience supporting children with additional needs/SEN.
• Ability to build positive relationships with pupils and staff.
• Reliable, adaptable and enthusiastic.
• Available from September onwards.
• Hold an Enhanced DBS, or are willing to apply for one.

Responsibilities

• Support learning across EYFS, KS1 and KS2 as required.
• Cover classes and lead learning when needed.
• Support children with additional needs/SEN.
• Build positive relationships with pupils and staff.
• Participate in school activities and training as required.
