Flexible Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) – Wigan

Pay Rate: £105 - £140 per day

Are you an experienced and confident HLTA looking for flexible, rewarding work in Wigan? Teaching Personnel are seeking dedicated Higher Level Teaching Assistants to work on a flexible, part-time or full-time basis across a variety of primary schools in the area.

Whether you're looking to top up your income, ease back into education, or enjoy a varied working week – this role is perfect for individuals who value choice, variety, and the freedom to set their own schedule.

Role and Responsibilities:

  • Deliver pre-planned lessons across EYFS, KS1 or KS2
  • Provide PPA cover and targeted interventions
  • Support classroom teachers and lead small group activities
  • Build positive relationships with pupils and staff
  • Adapt quickly to new school environments and routines

What We’re Looking For:

  • HLTA qualification or equivalent experience
  • Confident covering whole-class teaching when required
  • Strong behaviour management and communication skills
  • Enthusiastic, adaptable, and reliable
