Job summary

Driver Require LTD is recruiting HGV Class 1 drivers to work on an ad-hoc basis for events in Leeds. Drivers will deliver and collect trailers with event equipment, traveling between depot and sites.

The role is flexible, part-time, with short-notice bookings and occasional overnight stays in the cab. Applicants must hold a valid HGV Class 1 (C+E) licence, have at least 1 year of experience, and hold CPC and Digital Tachograph Card.

Qualifications

• Hold a valid HGV Class 1 (C+E) licence.
• Minimum of 1 year's HGV Class 1 driving experience.
• Valid CPC and Digital Tachograph Card.
• Be polite, professional and customer-focused.
• Be comfortable dealing directly with customers and event staff.
• Flexible and reliable approach to work.
• Be comfortable with occasional overnight stays when required.

Responsibilities

• Drive and deliver trailers containing event equipment between the depot and event sites.
• Collect equipment from venues and return trailers to the depot as required.
• Work on an ad-hoc, part-time basis with bookings on short notice.
• Sleep in the cab for overnight stays when necessary.
