Job summary

Nurseplus is seeking a Healthcare Assistant to support clients across a range of settings, from elderly care to individuals with learning disabilities and mental health needs. You’ll assist with personal care, mobility, meals, and companionship.

We offer flexible shifts, weekly pay, and training aligned with the Care Certificate, plus funded qualifications such as NVQ Levels 2 and 3. Our Workwise app helps you manage availability, shift bookings, and communication with the team.

Qualifications

• Over 18 years old and the right to work in the UK.
• Flexibility in availability to travel between care settings.
• A good standard of English and clear communication.
• A clear enhanced DBS, which you can apply for upon registration.

Responsibilities

• Assist service users with personal care, safe lifting and moving, and companionship.
• Support meal preparation and maintain dignity and independence according to care plans.
