Reed Wellbeing is seeking Self-Employed Health & Wellbeing Coaches to deliver NHS Healthier You programmes across Essex. You will conduct face-to-face sessions in group or one-to-one formats, requiring travel and access to a vehicle with a UK driving licence.

This flexible, rewarding role fits around other commitments and helps people live healthier lives. Sessions are paid at £50 per 90-minute session, with expected delivery of 12–20 hours per week.

Formación

• Minimum Level 3 qualification in Exercise Referral, Health Improvement/Promotion/Public Health, Nutrition & Weight Management, Coaching & Behaviour Change, or Education & Training.
• Evidence of training or competence in behaviour change delivery with recognized frameworks (e.g. COM-B, BCF, motivational interviewing or health coaching).
• First Aid trained with a valid certificate.

Responsabilidades

• Deliver NHS Healthier You Programme sessions in group and/or one-to-one settings per curriculum and standards.
• Motivate and support participants to make sustainable lifestyle changes using coaching approaches.
• Adapt delivery to diverse needs and learning styles; create an inclusive environment to encourage participation.
• Monitor progress, conduct regular reviews, and identify additional support needs.
• Signpost to local health, wellbeing, and lifestyle services as required.
• Participate in training, supervision, and CPD to maintain high service standards.
• Contribute ideas to improve programme delivery and outcomes.
