Job summary

Life Services Group is seeking a Casual Groundsperson to join the team at Basingstoke Crematorium. The role involves maintaining crematorium grounds, gardens and memorial areas to a high standard, contributing to a peaceful and well-presented environment.

You will work as part of a team, carrying out seasonal gardening tasks, ensuring safety and quality across the site. A driving license is desirable, and the position offers flexible hours with an 0-hour contract.

Qualifications

• Experience in groundskeeping, horticulture or outdoor maintenance.
• Physically fit and able to work outdoors in all weather.
• Pride in maintaining a clean, well-presented environment.
• Team player with good communication.
• Driving license is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Carry out seasonal gardening and landscaping tasks.
• Maintain paths, lawns, memorial plots and landscaped areas.
• Inspect and light maintenance of grounds equipment.
• Assist with leaf clearance, snow and ice control, and seasonal planting displays.
• Support memorial areas with care and assist families when needed.
• Work with site team and follow health and safety policies.
