Job summary

Locums First is seeking Locum General Practitioners in Eastham, England. This flexible role offers sessional work across multiple primary care services, with autonomy, variety and consistent weekly availability.

You will deliver urgent access GP care, routine reviews, telephone consultations and clinical triage, supported by clear workflows and collaborative clinical teams to ensure safe and efficient care delivery.

Qualifications

• GMC-registered GP with current license to practise.
• Experience in GP, urgent care or community primary care settings.
• Strong clinical reasoning and communication skills.
• Valid indemnity and Enhanced DBS clearance.
• NHS Performers List inclusion.

Responsibilities

• Manage urgent and routine GP clinics across primary care settings.
• Conduct telephone consultations and triage.
• Assess acute, chronic and undifferentiated presentations.
• Prescribe within scope and handle medication queries.
• Review results, referrals and follow-up actions.
• Record accurate clinical notes in service-specific systems.
• Work collaboratively with clinical and administrative teams.
