Job summary

Locum Ready is seeking a GMC-registered General Practitioner to work in Cranleigh across community and primary care settings. You will manage autonomous GP clinics, handle urgent demand, and provide routine appointments with essential follow-up work.

Flexible sessions across weekdays, evenings or weekends are available, with short-term and long-term bookings. Indemnity and DBS checks should be valid; NHS registration is preferred where applicable.

Qualifications

• GMC-registered GP requirement.
• Strong diagnostic reasoning and patient communication.
• Ability to work confidently in varied services.

Responsibilities

• Run independent GP clinics in community and primary care settings.
• Manage acute, routine and complex presentations.
• Conduct telephone triage to support urgent access demand.
• Prescribe safely within clinical guidelines.
• Complete results, medication reviews and referral actions.
• Maintain detailed and compliant clinical documentation.
• Collaborate effectively with local clinical teams.
