Job summary

Locum Ready is seeking a Locum General Practitioner to work in Kingston Upon Thames. The role offers ad-hoc or regular sessions with strong administrative support and clear clinical workflows in a busy primary care environment.

The successful GP will manage a varied caseload, conduct patient assessments, provide continuity where needed and deliver safe, high-quality care within established clinical processes.

Qualifications

• GMC-registered General Practitioner
• Active inclusion on the NHS Performers List
• Recent UK primary care experience
• Strong clinical decision-making and communication skills
• Familiarity with EMIS or SystmOne
• Valid indemnity and Enhanced DBS

Responsibilities

• Running routine and urgent GP clinics
• Managing acute presentations and complex cases
• Providing telephone consultations and triage as part of daily workflow
• Reviewing investigations, results and medication queries
• Prescribing safely and appropriately
• Documenting consultations clearly using the clinical system
• Supporting the practice with clinical actions and follow-up tasks
