Job summary

The GP Training Practice in central Gloucester is seeking a General Practitioner to join a flexible, supportive team. Newly qualified GPs are welcome, with opportunities to develop a special interest in women’s health, minor surgery or teaching.

The role involves around 6 sessions per week with flexible start times, no extended hours, and a focus on work-life balance. Visa sponsorship is considered for the right candidate, NHS Pension is included, and a strong multidisciplinary team supports

Qualifications

GP registration with GMC (UK) and eligibility to practise in the NHS.
Newly qualified GPs are welcome to apply.
Opportunities to develop a special interest in women’s health, minor surgery or teaching.

Responsibilities

Provide approximately 6 GP sessions per week with flexible start times (8/9/10am).
Manage 13–15 contacts per session via 15-minute face-to-face and 10-minute telephone appointments.
Perform around one home visit per day across the practice.
Include an hour of non-patient time every four-hour session and 15 minutes per session in admin time.
Triage duties rotate weekly with a supportive, multidisciplinary team.
