Job summary

Locum Ready is seeking a General Practice Nurse to support regional primary care services in Caersws. The role offers flexible sessional work within established GP clinics, suitable for nurses experienced in routine treatment room activity and supporting day-to-day clinical operations.

You will assist local primary care teams with general nursing duties, clinical reviews and patient-facing procedures in structured, well-organised environments.

Qualifications

• Registered Nurse (NMC) with primary care experience.
• Proficiency in treatment room activities and clinical procedures.

Responsibilities

• Provide routine nursing support in GP clinic settings.
• Perform wound care, dressings and treatment room duties.
• Administer routine immunisations and vaccinations (if trained).
• Carry out smear tests if cytology-trained.
• Support chronic disease management and care plan activity.
• Document clinical information accurately in digital systems.
