Job summary

Locum Ready is seeking a Healthcare Assistant to support regional primary care clinics across Balunie Avenue and surrounding GP environments. You will perform routine observations, assist with clinical tasks, and help maintain efficient patient flow within busy clinics.

The role involves ECGs, health checks, and support for phlebotomy where trained, with DBS checks enhanced. Flexible clinic shifts and opportunities for short-term or ongoing assignments are offered.

Qualifications

• Healthcare Assistant experience in GP, community or NHS settings.
• Confident in routine patient observations.
• Phlebotomy experience beneficial.
• Enhanced DBS required.

Responsibilities

• Conduct routine clinical observations.
• Support treatment room tasks and basic procedures.
• Perform ECGs and routine health checks.
• Assist with phlebotomy where trained.
• Record information accurately in clinical systems.
