Job summary

Firstpoint Healthcare is recruiting General and Palliative Nurses for ad-hoc shifts or long-term vacancies in private hospitals and hospices in Birmingham and Lichfield. You will work in NHS hospitals with flexibility across day and night shifts, providing person-centred care and liaising with medical teams.

Qualifications

• Current NMC registration, with no restrictions on practise
• 6 months NHS experience in your chosen setting

Responsibilities

• Provide a person-centred approach to serve and protect the dignity of patients and their care plans
• Lead and delegate medical tasks including assessments and evaluations of care plans, observations and record keeping
• Liaise with doctors and GPs
• Order, administer, store and dispose of controlled drugs in line with specific guidelines
