Job summary

Bright Horizons Great Cornard is seeking a flexible Nursery Practitioner to join our Bright Flex / Bank team. You will deliver EYFS activities, engage children in educational play, and contribute to a safe and stimulating learning environment.

You will also assist with room tidying and daily preparations, working with a supportive team. The role requires a Full Level 3+ Early Years qualification, safeguarding awareness, and a DBS check.

Qualifications

• Full and relevant Level 3 or above Early Years qualification.
• Previous experience working with children - Nursery Practitioner, Nursery Nurse, Early Years Educator, Nanny, Childminder or similar.
• Passion for making learning fun and engaging for each child.
• Ability to use a variety of communication techniques with both children and adults.
• Sound understanding of child protection and safeguarding.
• Ability to be flexible and adaptable.

Responsibilities

• Deliver EYFS through engaging children in entertaining and educational activities.
• Support room tidying and preparation and ensure day-to-day tasks are completed.
• Collaborate with colleagues to provide a safe, fun, and stimulating learning environment.
