Job summary

Bright Horizons Ely Day Nursery & Pre-School in Ely is seeking a flexible practitioner to join our Bright Flex/Bank team. You will support the EYFS delivery, engaging children in learning through play and helping them reach key milestones.

As part of a supportive team, you will help with day‑to‑day tasks such as room tidying and preparation, with opportunities for professional development and access to benefits including a childcare discount and enhanced parental leave.

Qualifications

• Full and relevant Level 3 or above Early Years qualification.
• Previous experience working with children (Nursery Practitioner / Nursery Nurse / EY Educator / Nanny / Childminder or similar).
• Passion for making learning fun and engaging for each child.
• Ability to use a variety of communication techniques with children and adults.
• Sound understanding of child protection and safeguarding.
• Ability to be flexible and adaptable.

Responsibilities

• Support delivery of the EYFS through engaging, educational activities.
• Encourage development toward key milestones with children.
• Work as part of a team to complete day-to-day tasks such as room tidying and preparation.
