• Previous experience as an Exam Invigilator or within an education setting is desirable but not essential

Responsibilities

• Supervise examinations in accordance with school and examination board regulations
• Ensure examination rooms are prepared and set up correctly
• Check students' identities and ensure they are seated according to the examination plan
• Distribute and collect examination papers and materials
• Explain examination instructions clearly to students
• Monitor students throughout examinations and maintain a calm and quiet environment
• Ensure examination rules and procedures are followed at all times
• Report any incidents, concerns or irregularities to the appropriate member of staff
• Maintain accurate records of attendance and examination incidents
• Assist with the secure handling and storage of examination materials
