Job summary

LVS Ascot is seeking enthusiastic and reliable individuals to join its team as Exam Invigilators. You will support the examinations team to ensure a quiet, orderly and fair environment so that every pupil has a fair opportunity to demonstrate their ability.

No prior invigilation experience is required as training is provided. Sessions vary with the timetable, typically including mornings and afternoons.

Responsibilities

• Supervising pupils during examinations and ensuring examination procedures are followed.
• Responding to pupils’ queries and reporting any examination irregularities in line with school procedures.
• Preventing unauthorised communication between candidates and remaining alert to possible malpractice.
• Escorting and supervising pupils who need to leave the examination room, including visits to the toilet or medical centre.
• Collecting examination scripts at the end of each session.
• Ensuring pupils leave quietly and do not remove equipment or stationery without authorisation.
