Job summary

Lavington School is seeking to expand its team of Exam Invigilators. You will support the Exams Officer with preparation of examination venues and oversee candidates to ensure fair, secure examinations.

The role includes supervising students, distributing papers, and assisting readers or scribes where required. The position requires excellent organisational skills, reliability, and the ability to stay focused during extended examination periods.

Responsibilities

• Set up examination venues with candidate materials and equipment.
• Distribute and collect examination papers; monitor timings.
• Supervise students in a calm, professional, unobtrusive manner.
• Respond to candidate queries in line with regulations; report concerns promptly.
• Assist students needing additional help (reader or scribe) after training.
