Job summary

Mana Education is recruiting English Teachers to work with secondary schools across Peterborough and the surrounding areas. Choose when you work, where you work and the type of assignments you’re interested in - there’s never any pressure to accept a booking.

We offer day-to-day supply, long-term, full-time and part-time roles with weekly PAYE pay. Roles include KS3 & KS4 English and GCSE preparation, with support from experienced local consultants.

Qualifications

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an appropriate UK-recognised teaching qualification.
• Experience teaching English within a UK secondary school.
• Strong subject knowledge across KS3 and KS4.

Responsibilities

• Teach English Language and Literature across KS3 and KS4.
• Deliver pre-planned lessons for day-to-day supply.
• Plan, teach and mark for longer-term placements.
• Support pupils preparing for GCSE examinations.
• Create an engaging and positive classroom environment.
