You are leading the Flexible Energy Gas Turbine fleet function, playing a crucial role in the European Energy transition, supporting Uniper in achieving its strategic goals, and shaping the fleet's future as a low-carbon technology to positively address climate change while ensuring security of supply.

Your responsibilities

• Accountable for the safe, compliant, efficient, sustainable, and profitable operations of Uniper’s Flexible Energy Gas Turbine fleet globally.
• Define the fleet vision, strategy, and direction aligned with Uniper's overall strategy.
• Engage with internal functions and external stakeholders to maintain competitiveness in Europe.
• Drive performance improvements across all business dimensions, including HSSE, operational, financial, and maintenance projects.
• Ensure the development of capabilities within the fleet organization, considering strategic business developments.
• Manage plant portfolio development through upgrades, life extensions, new unit integrations, and support sales or acquisitions.
• Participate as a key member of Uniper’s Top Leadership Team and Energy Asset’s Leadership Team to influence the company's strategic direction.
• Deliver safe, compliant, reliable, and financially sound operations of the gas turbine assets.
• Manage stakeholder relationships with authorities, political bodies, NGOs, and local partners.
• Maintain and renew permits as required, in collaboration with support functions.
• Implement energy asset management strategies and plans effectively.
• Optimize plant dispatch and performance short-term and develop operational planning.
• Lead portfolio development activities, including mothballing, closure, sales, and acquisitions.
• Drive operational excellence programs and develop the fleet team to achieve high performance.

Your profile

• Passionate about leadership, committed to safety, continuous improvement, and business excellence following the Uniper way.
• Capable of building trustful relationships in a multicultural, diverse, and inclusive environment.
• Deep understanding of European energy markets, asset management, and financial practices.
• Experience in operating and maintaining energy assets, leading change programs across multiple sites and countries.
• Ability to set a bold strategic direction, focus on key inputs, and deliver high-quality results timely.
• Willingness to travel regularly across Europe. Passing Uniper Assessment Center is mandatory.
