Monarch Education is recruiting an Early Years Teaching Assistant to support children aged 0-5 across nurseries and primary settings in Banbury. Flexible full-time and part-time opportunities are available, with ongoing placements and weekly pay.

Essential requirements include relevant childcare qualifications, DBS on Update Service, and a genuine passion for helping young learners develop foundational skills in phonics, literacy, numeracy, and social development.

Qualifications

Experience working with children in nursery, preschool, or school settings.
Passion for supporting early childhood learning.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to adapt to new environments.
Willing to obtain an enhanced DBS through Update Service.
Right to work in the UK.
References covering recent employment or volunteering work.

Responsabilités

Supporting children during play-based learning activities.
Assisting with phonics, early literacy, numeracy, and communication development.
Encouraging positive behaviour and social interaction.
Preparing learning resources and classroom activities.
Supervising indoor and outdoor play sessions.
Observing and recording children’s progress and achievements.
Promoting safeguarding and wellbeing at all times.
