Job summary

Storal Newark Nursery is seeking an Early Years Educator/Nursery Nurse to join our team in Newark. You’ll provide cover for children as needed, including holidays, sickness and vacancy gaps, and support full days or sessions.

Creativity and EYFS-aligned activities are encouraged to help children grow, learn, and thrive in a warm, home-from-home setting. Ideally, a Level 2+ Early Years qualification is required; we may consider unqualified educators with enthusiasm and transferable experience.

Qualifications

• Level 2 or higher Early Years qualification preferred; unqualified with relevant experience may be considered.
• Experience working with children under 5 is advantageous.
• Knowledge of the EYFS is desirable.
• Ability to be flexible with shifts around other commitments.

Responsibilities

• Provide cover for children as needed (holidays, sickness, vacancy gaps).
• Support for full days or morning/afternoon sessions as required.
• Deliver engaging activities: crafts, storytelling, exercises, and educational games within EYFS standards.
• Contribute to creating a warm, home-from-home nursery environment with a nurturing and positive atmosphere.
