Job summary

Bright Horizons Eldonians Nursery in Liverpool is seeking a flexible Bank/Temporary Practitioner to support EYFS delivery and engage children in educational activities. You will join a team focused on development milestones and safeguarding, with DBS checks required before appointment.

The role offers a supportive environment in which you can balance responsibilities with professional development and regular shifts within our Bright Flex/Bank team.

Qualifications

• Full and relevant Level 3 or above Early Years qualification.
• Previous experience working with children – Nursery Practitioner, Nursery Nurse, Early Years Educator, Nanny, Childminder or similar.
• Passion for making learning fun and engaging for each child.
• Ability to use a variety of communication techniques with both children and adults.
• Sound understanding of child protection and safeguarding.
• Ability to be flexible and adaptable.

Responsibilities

• Support colleagues with delivery of the EYFS through engaging children in activities, supporting development towards milestones.
• Work as part of a team to complete day-to-day tasks such as room tidying and preparation.
