Bright Horizons Annandale Street Nursery in Edinburgh is seeking a Nursery Practitioner to join our Bright Flex / Bank team. The role supports delivery of the Scottish Curriculum through engaging activities and teamwork across the nursery.

You will help children reach key milestones, contribute to daily tasks, and adapt to a flexible schedule while enjoying the benefits of being a Bright Horizons employee within a purpose-built setting.

Qualifications

• Full and relevant Level 3 or above Early Years qualification.
• Experience working with children as Nursery Practitioner, Nursery Nurse, Early Years Educator, Nanny, Childminder or similar.
• Strong communication skills with children and adults.
• Knowledge of child protection and safeguarding best practices.
• Flexible and adaptable to varied shifts and teams.

Responsibilities

• Support delivery of the Scottish Curriculum frameworks through engaging activities.
• Encourage children’s development towards milestones in a group setting.
• Assist with day-to-day tasks including room tidying and preparation.
