Job summary

Bright Horizons Milton Park is seeking a flexible practitioner to join our Bright Flex/Bank team. You will care for babies and young children up to age 5, supporting their development through interactive play, reading and structured activities.

You will work as part of a supportive nursery team, using a variety of communication methods with children and adults. DBS checks are part of the safeguarding process, and adjustments are considered for applicants.

Qualifications

• Passion for making learning fun and engaging for each child.
• Ability to communicate effectively with children and adults.
• Understanding of safeguarding and child protection practices.
• Able to be flexible and adaptable in a busy nursery environment.

Responsibilities

• Care for babies and children up to 5 years old as part of a team.
• Encourage development through interactive play, reading and activities.
• Support colleagues to help each child reach key milestones.
• Adhere to safeguarding and safer recruitment practices, including enhanced DBS checks.
