Job summary

TeacherActive is recruiting enthusiastic Unqualified Nursery Practitioners to work in nurseries across Chester and surrounding areas. This role offers flexible supply opportunities and pays £14.25 per hour, with weekly payments.

You will support children aged 0–5 with daily care, engaging activities, and safeguarding procedures, and you will join a supportive Early Years recruitment team providing training and development.

Qualifications

• A genuine passion for working with young children.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Willingness to complete safeguarding checks.

Responsibilities

• Support the daily care and supervision of children aged 0–5.
• Assist with fun, engaging, and educational activities.
• Help create a safe, stimulating, and nurturing environment.
• Encourage children’s social, emotional, and physical development.
• Work closely with nursery staff to support each child’s individual needs.
• Follow safeguarding and health & safety procedures at all times.
