Job summary

ATA LTD is seeking a reliable and hardworking Drivers Mate to join our delivery team on a flexible, self-employed basis. You will support a driver with deliveries and collections, including loading and unloading large items, and you should be physically fit for regular manual handling.

We’ve taken on a new contract and need extra hands. You’ll have at least one day’s notice before shifts, providing flexibility to fit around other commitments.

Qualifications

• Previous Drivers Mate or delivery support experience is required.
• Flexible and available for on-call work.
• Physically fit and comfortable with heavy lifting and manual handling.
• Reliable, punctual and hardworking.
• Comfortable working outdoors and on the move.

Responsibilities

• Assist with loading, unloading and movement of large boxes and heavy items.
• Support the driver with deliveries and collections on a self-employed basis.
• Be hands-on and ready for regular manual handling as part of a busy delivery team.
