Job summary

ATA LTD is seeking a reliable Drivers Mate in the Culham/Didcot area. This flexible, self-employed role involves assisting with deliveries and collections, loading and unloading large boxes, and performing regular heavy lifting outdoors. You will work alongside a driver and join a growing contract with on-call shifts.

The position offers freedom to fit shifts around other commitments, with at least one day’s notice before each shift. Driving licence is preferred but not essential.

Qualifications

• Previous Drivers Mate or delivery support experience is required.
• Flexible and available for on-call work.
• Physically fit and comfortable with heavy lifting and manual handling.
• Reliable, punctual and hardworking.
• Positive attitude and a team-player mindset.
• Able to travel to Culham and Didcot.
• Driving licence preferred but not essential.
• Comfortable working outdoors and on the move.

Responsibilities

• Support with deliveries and collections, including loading and unloading of large boxes and heavy items.
• Assist driver with movements and preparation for delivery routes.
• Perform regular manual handling and heavy lifting.
• Be available for flexible, on-call shifts.
