Job summary

Tesco is looking for Customer Delivery Drivers in the United Kingdom to meet customers at their homes and provide great service with a smile. It’s a hands-on, varied role that combines driving with customer interaction and teamwork, backed by a supportive base team.

The role offers flexible hours with a guaranteed minimum of 16 hours per week (some shifts from 12 hours), and pay starts at £14.18 per hour, rising to £15.45 in M25 stores. Benefits include clubcard discounts and wellbeing support.

Qualifications

• Valid UK/EU/EEA driving licence (full or automatic) for at least 12 months, with no more than 3 penalty points.
• Excellent customer-facing skills and a positive, helpful attitude.
• Ability to work flexibly across rotating shifts.

Responsibilities

• Keep van, trays and work area clean and organised to ensure orders arrive in perfect condition.
• Load the van safely and perform all checks for roadworthiness and reliability.
• Explain order changes or substitutions to customers clearly and courteously, processing refunds when needed.
• Handle products with care to maintain quality and customer trust.
• Deliver within the customer’s time slot with warm, doorstep service.
