Job summary

Angard Staffing Solutions Ltd supports Royal Mail in recruiting flexible postal delivery drivers. As a Post Person with Driving, you will deliver letters and parcels, drive a Royal Mail van around your area, and may walk sections of the route to complete deliveries.

A full UK driving licence with up to 6 points is required, plus fitness to walk 20,000 steps daily and lift bags up to 16 kg. Shifts vary and a driving assessment is required.

Qualifications

• Full, manual UK driving licence with no more than 6 points.
• Physical fitness to walk 20,000 steps a day and lift mailbags up to 16 kg.
• Shifts can vary and require teamwork on short notice.

Responsibilities

• Deliver letters and parcels as a Post Person with Driving.
• Drive a Royal Mail van around your delivery area and walk parts of the route as needed.
• Ensure secure delivery in line with Royal Mail standards and handle election materials where required.
