Job summary

Step Teachers is seeking Cover Supervisors for day-to-day supply across Attleborough and surrounding areas. You will supervise classes when teachers are absent and support pupils by delivering pre-prepared lessons.

Ideal candidates will have experience with children in educational settings, strong classroom management and communication skills, and a commitment to safeguarding. This flexible role offers variety and the chance to make a positive impact in different schools.

Qualifications

• Previous experience working with children or young people in an educational setting.
• Strong classroom management and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Supervise classes during teacher absence, ensuring a calm and productive environment.
• Deliver pre-prepared lesson plans and maintain continuity of learning.
• Manage classroom behaviour in line with school policies.
• Support pupils with their learning and answer questions where possible.
• Report any issues or concerns to senior staff promptly.
