Job summary

NHS Professionals is recruiting a Registered Children’s Nurse to provide community-based care in the Hampshire and Isle of Wight area. The role involves delivering high‑quality nursing care to children and young people with complex health needs in their own homes and other community settings.

Flexible hours include 4/5 week rotas with weekends and bank holidays. You will work with the Clinical Case Manager, support new staff, and uphold safeguarding and clinical standards across settings.

Qualifications

• Registered Children’s Nurse with post‑registration experience (6–12 months).
• Experience delivering care to children/young people with complex health needs in the community.
• Knowledge of the NHS Children and Young People Continuing Care Framework; driving licence preferred.

Responsibilities

• Deliver care in the child/young person’s home and community settings.
• Work with the clinical case manager to deliver and monitor care plans.
• Induct and support new care staff under supervision of the Clinical Case Manager.
• Maintain safeguarding, escalation procedures and high-quality care for each child.
