Job summary

MSS Facilities Ltd at Cardiff Rugby Club is seeking a Cleaning Operative to provide high-quality cleaning services across all facilities. The role is 32 hours per week over 5/6 days, contracted for 44 weeks, with potential extra work during match weeks.

The successful candidate will maintain hygiene standards, work independently, and support a flexible schedule including weekend work and post-match cleaning duties. Full driving licence and COSHH knowledge are advantageous.

Qualifications

• Ability to work weekends or an additional day during match weeks.

Responsibilities

• Review cleaning schedules daily, weekly and monthly.
• Work independently to complete designated duties to a high standard.
• Carry out routine cleaning across changing, welfare, medical, office and support areas.
• Clean washrooms, replenish consumables and maintain hygiene.
• Vacuum, litter pick, sweep and damp mop floors and circulation areas.
• Empty waste bins and remove rubbish following site procedures.
• Clean touchpoints and surfaces to maintain presentation standards.
• Perform periodic deep cleaning of targeted areas as required.
• Cover office and admin areas on staff non-operational days as scheduled.
• Assist with end-of-week washroom and communal area cleaning as needed.
• During match weeks, work across up to six days for post-match or morning cleaning.
