Job summary

Aramark UK is recruiting for a Catering Assistant to join our team in CF23 7BW on a zero hour contract. The role focuses on delivering friendly, professional service while supporting day-to-day catering operations and maintaining high standards across service areas.

You'll assist with food preparation, take customer orders, operate tills, and ensure food safety guidelines are followed. Training and development are available in a supportive team environment.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in catering, hospitality, retail, or customer service is desirable but not essential
• Positive attitude and a willingness to learn
• Excellent customer service and communication skills
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team
• Reliable, flexible, and adaptable to changing business needs
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to high standards
• Food hygiene knowledge is beneficial but training will be provided

Responsibilities

• Serving food and beverages to customers in a friendly and professional manner

• Supporting stock replenishment and storage procedures
• Following food safety, allergen, and health & safety regulations
