Job summary

Blue Arrow is recruiting Catering Assistants to support kitchen teams across Tunbridge Wells and surrounding sites. This role offers flexible shifts, catering across schools, care homes, and commercial kitchens, with weekly pay and a local consultant support.

Previous catering experience is helpful but not essential, with training available on hygiene standards. Join a team focused on high standards of service and hygiene, where you will help provide a great food experience at multiple client

Qualifications

• Previous catering or kitchen experience preferred but not essential.
• Positive attitude and willingness to learn.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and as part of a team.
• Good communication skills and reliability.
• Understanding of food hygiene standards (training can be provided).

Responsibilities

• Basic food preparation (washing, peeling, chopping ingredients).
• Serving food and drinks to customers.
• Cleaning kitchen equipment, utensils, and dining areas.
• Setting up and clearing service areas and dining spaces.
• Maintaining a clean, safe working environment.
• Supporting with stock rotation and deliveries.
• Following all food hygiene and health & safety procedures.
