Wellspring Academy Trust is seeking a Relief Catering Assistant to work in school kitchens across our trust. No experience required as full training is provided from day one, and you will join a friendly team serving wholesome meals to pupils.

As a relief worker on a zero-hours contract, you will cover shifts to support staff absences, holidays or busy periods, helping with food preparation, serving, cleaning and stock checks while adhering to food safety guidelines.

Qualifications

• No experience required; full training provided from day one.

Responsabilités

• Assist the Catering Lead in serving meals to pupils.
• Prepare, cook and serve nutritious food while accommodating dietary needs.
• Keep dining areas, kitchens and equipment clean and tidy; wash up and sanitise.
• Safely use catering equipment and follow food safety guidelines; COSHH training will be provided.
• Help with stock control, menu support and basic catering IT systems.
• Maintain high standards of safety and safeguarding for pupils and staff.
