Job summary

Berkeley Scott is seeking experienced Catering Assistants to join our temporary team serving sites across Liverpool and the surrounding areas. You will work in schools, hospitals, offices, care homes, and hospitality venues with flexible shifts and weekly pay.

Immediate starts are available for suitable candidates. Ideal applicants have prior catering experience and food safety qualifications, and possess strong communication and organisational skills to deliver excellent customer service in

Qualifications

• Previous experience working as a Catering Assistant or within a catering/food service role is essential.
• Strong communication and organisational skills are required.
• Ability to work well in fast-paced catering environments and deliver good customer service.

Responsibilities

• Preparing and serving hot and cold food items.
• Supporting chefs and kitchen teams during service.
• Serving customers and delivering excellent customer service.
• Operating tills and handling payments where required.
• Assisting with hospitality functions, buffets and events.
• Clearing down and closing units at the end of shifts.
• Maintaining high standards of cleanliness and hygiene.
• Following food safety and allergen legislation at all times.
• Ensuring food service areas remain clean, organized and well stocked.
• Collaborating with kitchen and front-of-house teams to provide efficient service.
