Job summary

Sheffcare Ltd seeks a Flexi Care Support Worker for Grange Crescent Residential Home in Sheffield. You will support residents to live as independently as possible, provide personal care, and help with daily living activities within a caring, respectful environment.

Employment offers full induction, mentorship, ongoing training, access to pension schemes, and guaranteed working hours on a permanent contract, with weekend shifts and bank holiday work as part of the rotation.

Responsibilities

• To support and assist residents to live as independently as possible.
• To empower residents to make their own decisions and choices.
• To provide support with personal care (washing, bathroom routines, dressing, eating/drinking).
• To offer physical and emotional support to residents.
• To help residents participate in daily living tasks and activities.
• To encourage engagement in social and wellbeing activities.
• To assist with health care and personal appointments.
• To, where trained, administer medication.
• To undertake safe manual handling with appropriate equipment.
• To maintain positive relationships with residents, families, colleagues and professionals.
• To record care using mobile technology.
• To uphold Sheffcare values and safe working practices.
