Job summary

PwC UK is seeking high-performing professionals to join our Capital Projects Risk & Control team across all levels. The role involves leading work-streams, delivering lifecycle reviews, and advising on contracts and third-party arrangements to improve outcomes for major capital programmes.

Your experience in project controls, commercial management, and capital projects will help clients manage costs, schedules and quality while providing clear, evidence-based insights to senior stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Experience in development, delivery and assurance of major capital programmes.
• Strong background in project controls and commercial management within capital projects.

Responsibilities

• Leading and managing work-streams within a larger engagement, supporting the delivery of advisory and assurance services on major capital programmes.
• Delivering reviews on capital projects throughout their lifecycle, providing observations and proposals to help plan and execute projects on time and on budget.
• Assessing the compliance, effectiveness and maturity of project management and project controls activities and supporting improvements to monitor, control and mitigate costs, schedules, scope and quality.
• Reviewing contracts and commercial matters on capital projects and providing observations to optimise controls and implementing them.
• Leading or supporting the formation and review of complex third party arrangements on capital programmes.
• Leading or performing supplier compliance and dispute resolution activities to investigate value leakage or identify poor performance.
