Job summary

Cygnet Group is currently recruiting experienced Bank Support Workers (Learning Disabilities) to work flexible ad hoc shifts at Cygnet Wast Hills. This is an excellent opportunity for dedicated care professionals providing high-quality support to individuals with learning disabilities and complex needs.

Your day-to-day involves offering person-centred care, safeguarding, and supporting independence, with options for days, nights, weekends, and occasional shifts.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years' experience in healthcare.
• Experience with learning disabilities, autism or challenging behaviour preferred.

Responsibilities

• Offer enhanced care with a flexible learning approach for all the people in our care
• Cooperate with other members of the nursing team to ensure the ward meets any therapeutic needs of the patient, which are conducive to recovery
• Provide guidance & encouragement through physical & emotional support
• Learn about individuals' specific needs & provide help in the most appropriate way
• At all times, ensure that the patient's rights and dignity are maintained.
• Report on medical & welfare needs as required
