Job summary

The National Autistic Society invites applications for a Bank Support Worker at Cherry Trees in Burnham-on-Sea. You will assist autistic adults in a residential setting, following individual support plans and daily routines.

The role offers flexible shifts, including evenings and weekends, with DBS checks preferred. A driving licence is preferred. Training and support are provided as part of a compassionate team.

Qualifications

• Inspiring others with a positive attitude while supporting vulnerable people.
• Experience with autistic people is helpful but not essential.
• Personal experience or a passion for helping others is welcome.
• DBS check is preferred or required for this role.

Responsibilities

• Assist with personal care (bathing, dressing, eating).
• Encourage activities they enjoy (swimming, hiking, arts & crafts).
