Job summary

Not For Profit People is seeking compassionate Bank Support Workers for flexible shifts across Greater Manchester. You will support individuals facing homelessness with practical and emotional help, helping them gain independence and confidence.

Roles involve building trust, promoting wellbeing, and collaborating with partner organisations. Prior experience with vulnerable groups is valued; DBS clearance will be checked where required.

Qualifications

• Experience of working with homeless or vulnerable adults is preferred.
• Strong communication and active listening skills.
• Ability to support people to build independence and confidence.
• Commitment to dignity, respect and safeguarding.
• Flexible to work across different services in Greater Manchester.

Responsibilities

• Build trusting relationships and provide practical and emotional support.
• Help individuals develop life skills for daily living.
• Support effective engagement with housing and community services.
• Contribute to safe, welcoming service environments.
