Job summary

Green Giraffe Nursery in Cardiff Bay is seeking flexible Nursery Practitioners to join our bank team. Work involves supporting early years learning for children aged 0–5 and delivering engaging, safe experiences in a welcoming environment.

We value caring, reliable, flexible staff with strong teamwork and safeguarding knowledge. DBS check is required or willingness to obtain one. Minimum 10 hours per week with additional shifts available.

Qualifications

• A passion for children's learning and development.
• Good knowledge of safeguarding and early years practice.
• A caring, reliable and flexible approach.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Enhanced DBS, or willingness to complete one.

Responsibilities

• Supporting the learning and development of children aged 0–5.
• Creating fun, engaging and nurturing learning experiences.
• Providing a safe and welcoming environment for every child.
• Building positive relationships with children, families and colleagues.
• Following safeguarding and child protection procedures.
• Supporting the nursery team with flexible cover when needed.
