EQ Care Group is seeking a Bank Kitchen Assistant for The Rowans, a 66-bed dementia and elderly care home in Wigan. You will support the Head Chef, prepare and serve nutritious meals, and keep the kitchen clean while complying with food safety standards.

You can pick shifts that suit you on a flexible, 7-day rota, including weekends. Experience in similar environments is desirable; NVQ Level 1 in food safety and hygiene or willingness to obtain it is required.

Qualifications

• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Experience within a similar environment desirable.
• NVQ Level 1 in food safety & Hygiene (or willing to obtain).
• Ability to work on a 7-day rota including weekends.
• Collaborative while able to work independently.

Responsabilités

• Assist in hot and cold food preparation and service.
• Respect dietary needs and respond to menu requests.
• Represent The Rowans with a professional, welcoming presence.
• Monitor stock control and rotation.
• Carry out duties as assigned by the Home Manager.
